Titanium welded pipe generally has the following four processing methods:
1. Tablet welding type titanium pipe: compared with the multi-seam "shrimp" type titanium pipe. The welding seam is less correspondingly, but the tablet process is more complicated, requires a large number of molds and consumes more materials and processes. The welding seam will also affect the corrosion resistance. The appearance is not ideal.
2. Multi-weld type (commonly known as " shrimp -waist" type) titanium tube: its processing technology is complex, usually used to cut the tube into multiple sections of inclined mouth, welded or plate into multi-section unfolding material and then roll welding, this method is more residual material, large weld. Because the weld will greatly reduce the corrosion resistance and it is easy to leak and poor appearance. The inner surface of the folded surface, increase the pipeline transmission resistance and increase the erosion of the back and reduce the service life.
3. Stamping titanium welded pipe: The titanium tube titanium tube seems to be no difference between appearance and push system, but the process is to bloom on the punch in the stamping die stamping forming. The forming process of titanium tube is in back tension and forced the thin back, caused by compression of the medial wall thickening and uneven wall thickness or crinkle and in the process of using titanium pipe back to withstand erosion, due to the back wall thin easy damage, make pipe whole life greatly reduced.
4. Cast titanium pipe: although there is no seam titanium pipe, but the wall thickness (at least 5mm) and the pipe wall thickness (2mm~4mm) cannot match. Thereby increasing the transmission resistance and the surface finish is poor. The more important is that there are a lot of internal defects such as pores produced by manufacturing, seriously affect the corrosion resistance and life.
The above kinds of titanium tubes are far from meeting the current requirements and the advent of the push titanium tube, is quickly accepted and welcomed by users because the push titanium tube has its own characteristics.
The processing of titanium welded pipe is to take the titanium pipe without seam as the blank and the blank with the pipe diameter smaller than the finished product diameter is pushed and extruded on the special push extrusion machine. In the forming process, the tube billet expands. The stress analysis shows that the stress in different parts is different, but under bidirectional compression, that is the axial compression, radial compression and circumscribed tension. The stress is always in tensile state.
